About Tsintaosaurus
Tsintaosaurus was a herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now China. It was a member of the hadrosaurid family, which also includes dinosaurs such as the well-known Triceratops and Stegosaurus. Tsintaosaurus was a medium-sized dinosaur, with an estimated length of about 6-8 meters (20-26 feet). It had a distinctive, elongated snout and a large, bony crest on its head, which may have been used for display or for making loud vocalizations. Tsintaosaurus had a long, stiff tail and walked on four sturdy legs. Its diet probably consisted of plants and vegetation, which it likely browsed on using its strong jaws and teeth.
