About Ornithomimus

Ornithomimus was a dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 85 to 65 million years ago. It was a member of the group of dinosaurs known as ornithomimids, which are often referred to as 'ostrich dinosaurs' due to their long legs and bird-like appearance. Ornithomimus was a small to medium-sized dinosaur, measuring about 6 to 9 meters (20 to 30 feet) in length and weighing around 250 to 450 kilograms (550 to 1,000 pounds). It had a long, narrow snout and a toothless beak, as well as long arms with three fingers on each hand. It had long legs and feet with three toes, and its toes were adapted for running. Ornithomimus probably fed on a variety of plants, including seeds and fruit, and may have also eaten insects and other small animals. It lived in a variety of environments, including forests, grasslands, and swamps.
