About Tyrannosaurus Rex

Tyrannosaurus rex, also known as T. rex, is a large carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 66-68 million years ago. It was one of the largest land predators that ever lived, with an estimated length of around 12-13 meters (40-43 feet) and a weight of around 5-7 metric tons. T. rex had a massive head with powerful jaws lined with teeth that could reach lengths of over 30 cm (12 inches). Its arms were relatively small compared to its body size, but it had strong legs and a long, heavy tail that it used for balance while running. T. rex is thought to have been a top predator, feeding on a variety of prey including other dinosaurs, such as hadrosaurs and ceratopsians. It is famous for its role in popular culture, and is one of the most recognizable dinosaurs in the world.
