About Struthiosaurus

Struthiosaurus is a genus of dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period, about 150 million years ago. It was a small, bipedal herbivore with a long, slender neck and a relatively small head. It is known from a single specimen found in Germany, which consists of a partial skeleton including the skull and parts of the limbs. Based on its anatomy, it is thought to have been a member of the group of dinosaurs known as the ornithopods, which also includes species such as Iguanodon and Dryosaurus. Struthiosaurus was probably a relatively fast-moving, agile animal that moved on two legs and may have used its long neck to reach high into trees to feed on leaves and other plant material.
