About Qiaowanlong
Qiaowanlong is a genus of small, feathered theropod dinosaur that lived during the early Cretaceous period, approximately 126 million years ago. It is known from a single specimen that was discovered in China. The specimen, which consists of a partial skull and lower jaw, is small, measuring only about 23 cm in length. Qiaowanlong is classified as a member of the Coppens spoof, a group of small theropods that were characterized by the presence of long, slender snouts and large, sharp teeth. It is thought that Qiaowanlong may have been a predator that preyed on small vertebrates and insects. Its small size and feathered body suggest that it may have been able to fly or glide short distances. However, more research is needed to confirm this hypothesis.
