About Pachyrhinosaurus

Pachyrhinosaurus is a genus of ceratopsid dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 72 to 66 million years ago. It was a large, herbivorous dinosaur that was characterized by its distinctive skull, which featured a large, domed head with horns and frills. The head was used for display and possibly for defense against predators. Pachyrhinosaurus was found in North America, specifically in what is now Alberta, Canada and Montana, United States. It was closely related to other ceratopsids, such as Triceratops and Styracosaurus. Pachyrhinosaurus was about 20 feet long and weighed about 2 to 3 tons. It walked on all fours and had a beak and grinding teeth for feeding on plants.
