About Nanotyrannus

Nanotyrannus is a genus of small tyrannosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 85 million years ago. It was first discovered in Montana in the United States in the 1940s, and its remains have also been found in Canada. The type species of Nanotyrannus is N. lancensis.

Nanotyrannus was a small tyrannosaurid, with an estimated length of about 6 meters (20 feet) and a weight of around 450 kilograms (1,000 pounds). It had a long, low skull with thin, blade-like teeth. Its arms were short and weak, with three fingers on each hand. Its hind legs were powerful and it had three toes on each foot.
