About Zuniceratops

Zuniceratops was a small ceratopsian dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 73 million years ago. It was a herbivore and had a distinctive set of horns on its head, including a pair of large, curved horns above its eyes, as well as a smaller pair of horns on its snout. Zuniceratops had a short, triangular frill on the back of its head, which was adorned with small spikes. It had a relatively small body size, with adults measuring about 2-3 meters (6.5-10 feet) in length and weighing around 200-300 kilograms (440-660 pounds). The exact function of its horns and frill is unknown, but they may have been used for display or defense. Fossils of Zuniceratops have been found in what is now New Mexico in the United States.
