About Valdosaurus

Valdosaurus is a genus of small, herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, about 130-125 million years ago. It was a member of the iguanodontid family, a group of dinosaurs known for their large, spiky thumb claws that were likely used for self-defense or digging for roots and tubers. Valdosaurus had a long, low skull with a row of small, triangular teeth along the jawline, suggesting it may have been a selective browser of low-lying plants. Its body was likely covered in small, triangular scales, and it had long, sturdy legs with three toes on each foot. Valdosaurus was relatively small, measuring about 6-8 feet long and weighing around 200-300 pounds. It is known from fossil remains found in England and Spain.
