About Saurornithoides
Saurornithoides is a genus of small, bird-like dinosaurs that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 70 million years ago. These dinosaurs were likely carnivorous and may have been feathered. They were relatively small, with an estimated length of about 3 meters (10 feet) and a weight of around 50 kilograms (110 pounds). Saurornithoides had a long, narrow head with sharp, pointed teeth, and a long, slender neck. It had long, slender legs and probably moved quickly. Its arms were short and weak, with three fingers on each hand, which suggests that it may have been unable to grasp or hold onto prey. Saurornithoides is known from several fossils that have been found in Mongolia and China.
