Description: Wuerhosaurus is a genus of stegosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period, about 155 to 150 million years ago. It is known from fossil specimens found in China. Wuerhosaurus was a small to medium-sized herbivorous dinosaur, with a body length of around 5 to 6 meters (16 to 20 feet) and a weight of around 1 to 2 metric tons. It had a long, narrow skull with a row of small, sharp teeth, and a distinctive row of spikes on its back and tail. Its front legs were shorter than its hind legs, and it had four toes on each foot, with sharp claws on the second and third toes. Wuerhosaurus is thought to have used its spikes and claws for defense against predators, and may have also used them for display or territorial behavior.
