About Utahraptor

Utahraptor is a large, predatory dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, about 125 million years ago. It was one of the earliest members of the group of dinosaurs called dromaeosaurids, which also includes Velociraptor and Deinonychus. Utahraptor was about 20 feet long and weighed about 1,100 pounds. It had a long, curved claw on each foot, which it may have used to hunt and kill prey. Its skull was relatively small and had sharp teeth, indicating that it was a carnivore. It is believed to have lived in what is now North America, and its remains have been found in Utah and Colorado.
