About Qianzhousaurus
Qianzhousaurus is a genus of tyrannosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now China. It was a large carnivore, with adults reaching lengths of up to 10 meters (33 feet) and weighing up to 3 metric tons (3.3 short tons). It had a distinctive skull with a long, narrow snout and large, serrated teeth. Its forelimbs were shorter and more robust than those of other tyrannosaurids, and it had three clawed digits on each hand. It likely lived in a semi-arid environment, and may have hunted large herbivorous dinosaurs such as hadrosaurs and ceratopsians.
