About Prenocephale
Prenocephale is a genus of small, herbivorous ceratopsian dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 76 to 66 million years ago. It was discovered in the western United States and is known from fossil remains found in Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota. Prenocephale is thought to have been about 4 meters (13 feet) long and weighed around 1 ton. It had a triangular head with a large, rounded frill on the back of its skull, and a pair of small horns above its eyes. Its body was relatively slender and it had long, slender legs, which may have been used for running and escaping predators. Prenocephale likely lived in herds and fed on low-lying plants and ferns.
