About Paralititan
Paralititan was a genus of sauropod dinosaur that lived in what is now Africa during the Early Cretaceous period, about 112-97 million years ago. It is known from partial remains that have been found in the Bahariya Formation of Egypt. Paralititan was a large dinosaur, with estimates of its length ranging from 25-30 meters (82-98 feet) and its weight reaching up to 50-60 metric tons. It had a long neck, a small head, and a long tail. Its teeth were adapted for grinding vegetation, and it likely fed on plants that grew in wetland environments. Paralititan is classified as a member of the Titanosauria, a group of sauropods known for their massive size and wide distribution across the globe.
