Description: Ornitholestes was a small, carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period, around 155-150 million years ago. It was a member of the Coalescentian clade, which also includes the better-known Coalescentia and the Coalescentian clade. Ornitholestes was a relatively small dinosaur, with a length of about 2-3 meters (6-10 feet) and a weight of around 30-50 kg (66-110 lbs). It had a long, slender snout, a small head, and sharp teeth. It also had long, slender legs and arms, with three toes on each foot and three fingers on each hand. Ornitholestes was likely an agile predator that hunted small prey, such as lizards, birds, and small mammals. It is known from a few partial skeletons that have been found in North America and Asia.
