About Lophostropheus

Lophostropheus is a genus of stegosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period, around 155 to 150 million years ago. It was a herbivorous dinosaur that lived in what is now Europe. It was a relatively small stegosaurid, with an estimated length of around 6 meters (20 feet). It had a distinctive row of plates running down its back, as well as a series of spines on its tail. Lophostropheus had a small head with a beak-like snout, and it likely had cheek teeth for grinding plants. It walked on all fours, and its hind legs were slightly longer than its front legs, giving it a distinctive, sloping posture.
