About Khaan

Khaan is a genus of small, feathered theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now Mongolia. It is known from a single fossil specimen, which was found in the Nemegt Formation and includes a skull and partial skeleton. The specimen has been dated to around 70 million years old. Khaan was a relatively small dinosaur, with an estimated length of about 2 meters (6.5 feet). It had a long, low skull with a sharp, beaked snout, and large, forward-facing eyes. It had small, slender arms with three fingers on each hand, and long, slender legs with three toes on each foot. Khaan was likely an agile runner and may have been a carnivore, although this is not certain. It is thought to be closely related to other small theropods such as Velociraptor and Deinonychus.
