Description: Jinzhousaurus is a genus of small, herbivorous dinosaurs that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, approximately 130-125 million years ago. It was a member of the hypsilophodontid family, which includes other small, agile dinosaurs such as Thescelosaurus and Orodromeus. Jinzhousaurus was a bipedal dinosaur, meaning it walked on two legs. It had a relatively small head with large, forward-facing eyes, and a long, slender neck. Its body was relatively short and stocky, with short, powerful legs and long, thin toes. It had a long, thin tail that may have been used for balance while running or jumping. Jinzhousaurus was likely a herbivore, feeding on plants and possibly small insects. It lived in what is now China, and its remains have been found in the Jiufotang Formation in Liaoning Province.
