About Ingenia

Ingenia is a genus of dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, approximately 125 million years ago. It is known from a single species, Ingenia yanshini, which was discovered in China. Ingenia was a small, bipedal dinosaur that measured about 2 meters (6.6 feet) in length. It had a slender build, with long arms and legs, and a relatively small head with large eyes. Ingenia is thought to have been a herbivore, and may have used its long arms and grasping hands to gather leaves and other vegetation. It is classified as a member of the ornithischian group of dinosaurs, which also includes species like Triceratops and Stegosaurus.
