Author, artist, singer, songwriter, musician, geologist, archaeologist, and passionate paleontologist, Ron Schmidtling will serve as your guide to extraordinary journeys of mind and imagination to worlds once real. His mission is painting the pictures, creating the music, unleashing the words, and revealing the wondrous mysteries of a planet in growth and motion.
He is The Dino-Guy - dedicated to the proposition that the more we learn about all that went before, the greater our respect for all that now surrounds us. Ron holds a bachelors degree Art from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a masters degree in Geology from UCLA, with formal studies in Ancient Folklore, Art History, Archaeology and Paleontology. His path has led to work as a field archaeologist, museum paleontologist, art teacher, biology instructor, graphic designer, concert performer, and exhibitor at the Rico Gallery and in ArtNews Magazine.
